| Milky Way Galaxy (10 sub-boards)
The Milky Way Galaxy is a spiral galaxy which is part of a local group of galaxies, relatively close to one another. Hence the Milky Way is relatively similar to its neighbors the Andromeda and Triangulum galaxies. The Milky Way has about two million stars and is of average size, some one hundred thousand light years in diameter. The galaxy is of an immense age and contains many solar systems, the one which contains the Earth (situated in the Orion Arm) is estimated to be around four and a half billion years old. The galaxy itself is believed to be around twelve billion years old. The Milky Way is the galaxy from which the Empire and the human race originated. It now is the 'hub' of empire activity, most of their military is trained here and high security prisoners are taken here for 'questioning.' It is known that the Emperor lives here, although his specific whereabouts are unknown.

| Andromeda Galaxy (8 sub-boards)
The Andromeda Galaxy is in the same group as the Milky Way and Triangulum Galaxies, meaning that there is a distance of less than three million lights years between the three. Andromeda is a spiral galaxy which lies among a large constellation of stars. As the largest galaxy in the group Andromeda contains about a trillion stars and has a solar system capable of supporting life. Andromeda is visible from Earth as a faint smudge and so it was the ambition of the first human space explorers to reach this galaxy. The Empire became an Empire in the year 0 AE when it conquered the planet Aga Qilaq, the only planet within Andromeda capable of supporting life was conquered by the Empire. This marked the beginning of the Empire's expansion and the end of Andromeda's freedom. Now Andromeda is a functioning part of the Empire's territory. It produces many weapons and resources as well as Nutaaqi recruits for the army.

| Triangulum Galaxy (8 sub-boards)
The Triangulum Galaxy is a spiral galaxy that lies 3 million light years away from the Milky Way in a constellation called Triangulum. This galaxy is the oldest in the local group, estimated to be around 10 billion years old. It is smaller than the Andromeda and the Milky Way, having a diameter of only 50 000 light years and containing only 40 billion cataloged stars. Triangulum is quite different than its sister galaxies in terms of element composition and aerobic life. This galaxy contains many harmful and deadly bacteria and viruses. Only the native people of the galaxy, Hobins, can be completely safe here. This is one of the reasons the Galaxy was so hard for the Empire to conquer, but conquer it has. Now Triangulum is a backwoods galaxy which sees every sort of illegal activity.

| Inner Reaches (6 sub-boards)
The Inner Reaches is a region of empty space extending between the Triangulum and Adsum Galaxies. Although the Inner Reaches contains stars, asteroids, space junk, etc it is mostly empty because billions of light years extend between the objects. The Inner Reaches was 'conquered' by the Empire in the year 72 AE, although there was no battle involved, they mearly had to extend their boundaries across the space. The Urtrak are the only biological life known to have arose in this area, and they evolved upon a dieing sun which had cooled enough to support life. The Urtrak surrendered to the Empire almost immediently and have since been captured as slaves and sold across the Empire. The Inner Reaches is currently a war zone, not open to civilians. Freedom Fighters and The Army clash in the struggle for control of this area. Although the Inner Reaches is worth very little in terms of markets, resources and living space, it is a vital military ground. Whoever controls the Inner Reaches has the upper hand. It is the Empire's first line of protection and a buffer zone for the Fae and Werewen civilizations.

| Adsum Galaxy (9 sub-boards)
The Adsum galaxy is the oldest in the known universe, estimated to be around 12 billion years. Life managed to develop relatively late in the lifespan of the universe so the Fae people were born into a dieing world. The Fae home planet Meliora orbits around the oldest sun in the galaxy, which is rapidly cooling and expanding. As it expands it will engulf and destroy everything it touches, including Meliora. Because the galaxy is so old it has become unstable, over time atoms formed very unstable compounds and eliminated stable ones. Therefore planets in this galaxy are rocked by titanic storms and space travel is difficult to say the least. Therefore Fae pilots have gained a reputation as the best fliers in the universe. it is a well known fact that the Empire is planning to invade Adsum next, and their army is quite capable of doing to. The only thing that stands in their way is securing the Inner Reaches.

| Folkvarder Galaxy (7 sub-boards)
The Folkvarder Galaxy is unique in that it is an Elliptical galaxy. It has an irregular shape and does not rotate as much as a regular galaxy should. It is believed that the gravity from Folkvarder's two biggest suns plays a part in the shape of the galaxy. This galaxy has a relatively small amount of interstellar matter, only about two million stars and a few planets. It is estimated to be around six billion years old and lies only five million light years away from Adsum. The galaxy is inhabited primarily by the Werewen people, but also by their allies the Fae. Osvaldr, the Werewen home planet is the hub of rebellion activity and contains the largest freedom fighter base. It is known that the Empire will eventually move against Folkvarder, however only if they can subdue the Fae in Adsum. Therefore Folkvarder has a relative degree of safety, which may make the Werewen complacent. Their home galaxy has always been peaceful, war would utterly destroy it.

| Outer Reaches (5 sub-boards)
The Outer Reaches is the most mysterious, dangerous, thrilling and exciting place in the known universe. It is everything which exists outside of known space. In fact the number of things which are known about the Outer Reaches is vastly outnumbered by the Reaches' vast, dark bulk. Expeditions from the Empire, The Fae and the Werewen have been sent into the Outer Reaches; some have never returned and some have returned terribly altered. The Empire cares about this portion of the universe only enough to want it, as it wants everything. It is rumored however that the Empire fears this place more than anything. The Werewen believe that a way to defeat the Empire, and save themselves, may be found in the Outer Reaches; a weapon, a new race, a new galaxy...anything could be here. If you have the courage to venture forth into the unknown.
